Life of a Mangaka wannabe

These past days I've been meeting with certain people who also share the same goals of becoming Mangaka. Many are just wannabes, but among them exist a few who knows how to grab this thing by the horns. And is that person the one I chose to be my partner for the road. ...Or did he chose me? Either way, it will work out for both of us.

He reminds me of myself when I was younger. Same enthusiasm, many ideas, lots and lots of writings and drawings... He cosiders me his mentor, but what the hey, I'm just helping him out on whatever I can. I feel I need a mentor myself. Manga and anime (mostly anime) has been my school for the longest time. No teachers and no art school has helped me hone the skills I own today.

I'm currently drawing pages 14 to 16 of In Dark Hell: Pilot Manga chapter #5 as I upload pages from chapter #4. Once this pilot is over, a Season will start for sell at Anime Conventions and also online.

I stopped selling the pilot Manga to offer my art for free as part of the initiative promotion. Still, I love doing what I do because it's a gift from birth. This is what we do. So, I'm living my dream. ...Well, part of it. I want my manga to get out there!!!! ^_^

"In Dark Hell" is back to Drunk Duck Webcomics with two more pages, finally closing the 3rd chapter after a long and unexpected absence. Though I'm still acquiring the equipment to continue drawing the final (6th) chapter of this Pilot Manga, I'll continue to post chapters #4 and #5 on the upcoming weeks.

I'm also currently working on more, new chapters for the 1st Season, so yeah; IDH is back! ...Or at least around the corner. :p

IN DARK HELL: Movie?

As I stated at the top of this Blog, I wanted to use this medium to tell the world about my interest on Manga and how was I going to become a Mangaka. But also a moviemaker.

IN DARK HELL is the title for the Manga I'm working on, but there's also the movie version.

As of today, I'm working on the pre-production of the film adaptation, exercising and the sorts. I'll have a meeting on the next month(s) with the group that will help me make this happen.

It's still too soon to tell a thing, but come back often for possible updates and perhaps some pics about the movie production.

My first 2011 post! Happy New Year!

This is the first time (in many years) that we in Puerto Rico had a cold weather during the Winter Season. But today (when we call Christmas officially over), the cold weatehr simply disappeared (well, actually yesterday was pretty hot. Go to my Facebook page to see some pictures from yesterday).

Now, what's the next best thing? VALENTINE! Then SPRING! I feel like planning something interesting to do and take video of it.

The next approaching convention is KAISEN 8, but there's still no official date, so it's all a waiting game. I'm almost done with chapter #4, so I think I can release it on the next weeks. Check http://indarkhell.webs.com/ for the latest updates.

Hello!

I'm currently drawing "In Dark Hell: Pilot Manga" Chapter #4. Some people even started to push me a little so to have it ready now! Based on my calculations, it should have been ready for the end of this month, but because of some misfortunes and some changes on the covers, this chapter suffered a minor delay. Chapter #4's availability will be somewhere around mid January, 2011 with a small chance for an earlier release.

What's to be expected on this chapter:

Xarian and his henchmen, Saburou (the 3-in-1 fellow) are in hot pursuit of Reiko, while Kaede and Jiro are doing their best to stop them at all cost, releasing their inner power to top Xarian's might! But no matter how hard they try, it is in the end Reiko herself who must stand up against them. How will that happen? Or, what will happen? It is probably time for her to begin considering a few alternate measures. Something to do with her bitter past.

Konnichiwa!

After the DCC I noticed my Manga was not well... 'noticed' by the public. One of the reasons (and I bet was reason #1) was because it was all in B&W. But a problem no more, because yesterday I was able to run a print test of the new cover for chapter #1, in full color. Here's a view:

Chapters #2 and #3 will also receive the same treatment, as well as upcoming chapters #4, #5 and #6.

December = DCC @ YMCA!

Hi!

Yesterday (Dec. 5, 2010) I assisted the 30th David's Comic Clan, or better known as "DCC" as my first-time-ever to sell my IN DARK HELL: Pilot Manga!

The experience selling it was awesome, and I learned many things while at it. I understood the corrections I have to make and those corrections are going to be applied ASAP; which means the upcoming chapter #4 will be a tad affected by it, and its release will be delayed to an unconfirmed date.

My next targeted activity will be KAISEN 8 this next February 19 and 20, 2011, where you'll see IDH from chapters #1 up to #4, with color covers this time and some extra merchandise I'm thinking of, like posters of the main characters and villains.

As soon as I upload yesterday's DCC pictures, I'll upload them here and on IDH's Facebook account.

Thank you all for your support on this Local Manga, and I hope you keep on asking for more, since I'm cooking a new (longer) Season for a near-future release.

Today, GEO DELMARO's BLOG is celebrating its first anniversary!

One year ago, on this same date, I gave birth to a site where I could express myself, whether people read it or not; in the hopes that they are. :p

The main reason for this blog was to show you (and myself) how I'm managing my life towards becoming a MANGAKA! What I'm doing right? What I'm doing wrong?

Today, I have 3 chapters of my MANGA made. I still need to handle some crucial stuff to make it available for SALE, but it's coming out pretty good and I'm excited about it.

My son's birthday party is soon to come as well. Remember his last year's birtday party? (check last year's posts) I'll do my best to shoot some pics to upload later on.

I may also change some stuff around the blog, as well as uploading some COSPLAY photoshoots I'll be managing in the next few months, cosplaying characters of my new MANGA and next upcoming projects.

Hello again...

It's been a while, but I'm back after a couple of months without Internet and packed with 3 chapters of the Manga I'm about to release.

It's a PILOT of 6 chapters to get the series started. Depending on the results, I may consider extending it.

I wish I could make a SEASON or two and an Anime movie (or life-action) with this story.

I wasn't able to attend the KAISEN 7 ComiCon this past September 4th & 5th as I wanted. (-_-') I have a lot of money issues and, without cash, I can't move around with this project. But I'm slowly making it happen, so it's a good sign.

I'm closer and closer to my goal each passing day, and I'm feeling very excited about this. I'll have my own MANGA STUDIO soon, and if things go well on the first months (or after the first year), I may even open a channel for those interested on becoming MANGAKAS to have a chance to make their own. I'll publish them together with mine, as if we were making a sort of SHONEN JUMP magazine. Cool, huh?

But it's still a bit soon to be discussing this. First things first, and that's finishing my PILOT of 6 chapters and YOUR SUPPORT to make this happen! Let's break the boundaries and go out there, kiddos! ^ ^

Today was my nephew's (Julio AKA Tito) birthday party. It was cool, and I met some new friends. Some of them knew me already because my nephews told them about me. We like mostly the same stuff, which brought us somewhat together today. There was a rock band playing, but even though the lead singer couldn't make it, we had fun. At first we were a bit shy to come closer to each other, but we finally got over it and started to talk right away. ^ ^

Road to mangaka!

Hello again!

As you already know, I want to become a Mangaka. But I didn't know getting there was THAT hard!! I mean, I've been reading a manga called "Bakuman" (from the people who brought us 'Death Note') these past few days and it's all about youngsters who want to become mangakas and all the difficulties and challenges they face in order to get it.

I've learned "Shonen Jump"'s system, and all the ways they consider when taking a story into account for serialization. It's a long, hard road, and made me realize how far I am from making it. (If it was already a long road for me, realizing this reality -of how strict the business is- made the road for me 3 times longer than it already was!) But will this be a barrier to stop me from getting there? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Making manga is not something I came up with the other day just because is too darn popular nowadays. I've been wanting to make comics since I was in elementary school, so I go waaay back. I've made many stories into comic books just for fun, but this time and date, I want to go PRO, starting from square one. But doing this is like saying "starting a game in New Game + (plus)" I'll be starting from scratch, but applying all the knowledge I've acquired so far in my experiences reading, researching and writing/drawing manga domestically.

Currently, I'm drawing a One-Shot Manga. I'll make a stop soon and consider important points. Once satisfaction is met, I'll continue drawing with the new perspectives in mind.

I encourage all Mangakas wannabes out there, make a lot of research, read Manga books, and above all, follow your inner instincts. After all, it's originality what truly counts and how much are you willing to give in to your project.

MGS:Fever continues...

Yesterday I was expressing my feelings toward the Metal Gear Solid franchise as I posted a bit about the next installment of the series, "Metal Gear Solid: Rising". I listened to the MGS2 OST and watched some videos online as well. Too much metal to handle, so I went to my treasure chest where I save my cosplay stuff, and looked for some toy guns. My kid followed me because he knew I was about to do something interesting. For himself, at least. ^ ^

We played MGS! I was Snake and he was... someone else. Then, I grabbed a sword and became Raiden, as he got to play as Snake. We defeated many soldiers and stopped the Gigantic Metallic Menace or the "GMM" (hah... that was a joke there... ... ...*ahem*). Here some pics of yesterday's adventure. ^ ^'

He woke up today very early and is already wearing the bandanna and weapons, ready for another mission. I guess I better not keep him waiting.

Now, where did I put that cardboard box???

Metal Gear Solid: FEVER

Hey there.

After this past E3, I've been very excited about many items presented there. One of them is the upcoming next MGS title "Metal Gear Solid: Rising" featuring Raiden.

Raiden uses a sword and can cut through anything! You can see a trailer here if you haven't yet.

As I understand, MGS4 was based in the year 2014. "Rising" will be set on a previous -yet unannounced- year, which obviously makes it a prequel to MGS4. As I read in an article at IGN website, "Rising" will tell the story of how Raiden went from a young soldier (MGS2) to the cyborg ninja he ended to be (MGS4). Which is nice, since I was wondering the same.

Raiden can cut thru anything, even this guy's exoskeleton.

When cutting, you enter a 'bullet time' mode

to give you time to decide your cutterly ways.

"Here, at RAIDEN MOTORS, we're splitting the price in HALF!"

Raiden is the main character here, but I also wonder the presence of the legendary hero in this new installment. Only time will tell as news continue to spread.

Hello!

Life has struken me hard these past months, and depression is over me, again. It gets in the way of getting my Manga done, and I hate that. I want to finish it already!! Publish it!! Make money with it!! LOL!

I showed it to my nephews, who adore Manga (and Naruto above all things *roll eyes*) and one of them said something that I overlooked. Something that I noticed while I was working on it, but it wasn't until that moment when I realized the importance of it. It's a good thing to show your underworking product to someone reliable. His/her opinion can help you really good.

They invited me to a birthday party they'll have this next Saturday 25th. I'll attend and take pics. They told me I already have fans, because my nephews talk about me at school and they want to meet me. They've seen some of my drawings and they already want to copy my style, hahaha!... NO WAY!

You wanna learn how to draw Manga, check books like these. ^ ^

I'm still learning, and as I make my Manga, I'm learning even more, because I face many challenges on the road and notice what I didn't notice before. Well, I've been drawing since High School, but I've never taken any drawing classes because LIFE is difficult and I couldn't. Even now, if I wanted, I couldn't either.

But I don't want to wait any longer for things to be accomodated so to begin making Manga. I'm starting with one which I consider it's a TEST, because I'm literally testing many things, like I said, discovering new things and facing new challenges as I work on it. I have another Manga project to work with afterwards, and more stories coming up ahead of these.

So yes, LIFE is hard, but it has its amazing rewards in the end of the road.

I'm still working on the Manga/Movie project. It's a hard thing to do but enjoyable nonetheless.

Manga, page 20!

Oh, ok. What's all the excitement about? That I finally reached page #20 of my current Manga project. That's what.

About a month ago I started this project, which means it takes me around 30 days to complete 20 pages. This because I dedicate some time into fixing some parts and not to mention adding tones. A Manga production house take much less time, but only because they have a battery of artists to make it happen. Out here, it's just plain, boring me doing all these stuff, and boy do I have a great time doing so! ^ ^

Yeah, yeah, I'm finally living it my way. Well, almost. When I'm business and begin gaining money for my work, THAT will be the day!

Hello and welcome again!

I'm a tad busy lately with multiple things I'm working on (two Mangas, two movie scripts and a little something on the side). And here I am to update my blog and talk a bit about these projects to those of you who are interested and always reading my blog day after day!! (crickets chirping) ...^_^' heh.. *nervous chuckle*

Well, yesterday, my friend KHAIL (see image below) and I went out to run some errands and, while we were at it, we talked about our near future projects.

This is my high school friend, Khail.

He is a computer teacher, an artist in writing

stories, a musician (plays guitar and currently

learning the piano) and plans to write a novel soon,

where I'm going to be making some drawings!

We had Chinese and, while at it, he commented some

things about life, love, women and his fascinating vision

upon all these mentioned elements.

On his upcoming book, he tells a story of a

couple in love, both somewhat victims of war.

Here, I made a drawing of one of my own characters

to warm up for the drawings he will be asking me.

to make it happen. Wish me luck so that I can

bring something of good quality for Khail, and

for his upcoming book readers. ^ ^

After a big and unexpected break time, I started to draw again. Many issues and many troubles always pop up during the construction of something. But that's life, I guess.

I wanted to finish a Manga project to be published this next April for a ComiCon activity, but it's not gonna happen. I had to push it back again because it's taking me longer than I expected, and I don't have the professional tools and/or experience to make it happen the way pros do. But I believe in myself enough as to bring out something.

So, while I finish the Manga project to be printed, I started off with another Manga to, once again, strike the internet. And this time, it's NOT a test. I'm not supposed to say anything about this yet, but I needed to write something on my blog, so, I did. ^ ^

Once again I'll be using WEBS.com as my host and you can find out more about my near-future releases here on Geo Delmaro's Blog (more likely), on Facebook (Jorge Camacho) and Twitter (Geo_Delmaro). I also have a MySpace account, but I don't use it much.

Hello and welcome again to my blog! ^ ^

I've been working on my next Manga project, as many of you already know, and I took some pictures to show you a bit of that progress.

This is my desk. Yup, that's right. Pretty tight and not

too comfortable to work with. But I get the job done! ^ ^

This is what I call the "Outline Process", where I make

quick drawings just to see how the whole story fits

per volume/per page/per square.

This here is chapter 5 part 2. I preffer to complete the

whole thing first before I start selling Manga volumes.

are just a bit difficult to make. Well, not anymore, LOL!

I'll show you this now but that's it, ok? ^ ^

This is the story's main character, DELMARO,

on her 2nd costume.

But here comes the sad part. As you can see, my workplace is not what I can call an office. I really want to become a Mangaka, but under these circumstances... I'm not sure. See the following pics.

This is my 3 1/2 X 5 inches Wacom Tablet. Or what's left of it.

The pen tip is broken, very difficult to grab

AND draw with it. Sometimes it confuses the

tip with the back and erases instead of inking. -_-'

The USB cable is also broken, so I had to put it together

with tape and each time I want (well, HAVE) to use it,

I have to twirl the cable in all the ways you can imagine

until, like 10 minutes later, it comes to life.

My Laptop is outdated and also breaking out slowly

each passing day. It heats up easily, so I bought a

fan to place beneath it. It's that gray platform you

can see... but take a wild guess: It's broken!

So, I had to use a provisional small fan so that I can

continue working on my projects. And that's my

current status as of now. ^ ^'

I'm jobless, my wife is jobless, and we have a 5 years old kid in school. I have no money at all to fix my car, to pay the bills, and other things we need to get to survive. Thankfully, my mother in law is kind enough to pay my bills until we find a job and establish ourselves. Also, I thank God because He's been protecting me all along in my times of need.

Now I'm gonna ask you for your help. You know I want to be a Manga artist. I want to publish my books. But I won't be able to under these circumstances. I need new equipment and a new, bigger desk to work on. I understand that everybody is going thru a difficult time, but for those who can, I'm asking you for your donation. Anything at all is highly appreciated!

I need a new Laptop, a bigger Wacom Tablet and a decent desk.

With these, I can work on my Manga projects and establish myself with a job of my own.

Hello again!

Boy, am I happy to be around again!

I'm sorry for my delay, but I was attending some personal issues that, they're still around, but I can't put my blog aside! Na-ah! ^ ^

I've been reading my sad, little recent posts and I figured that I needed more updates more often. And because this blog was made so to focus on my Manga projects, I'll be updating you more about Manga rather than whatever I did elsewhere, like working on my house and stuff alike.

On Saturday, April 24, 2010 there's gonna be a huge ComiCon in Puerto Rico at the San Juan Convention Center. My big plan? Sell chapter #1 of the Manga I'm cooking right now. Yes, even as I type this very words here I'm working on a new Manga, since CosplaYard was a mere test so to try the ads and some other things I needed to consider.

I just can't tell you more about this new project just yet, but April is really closer than you can imagine, and I'm starting to wonder if I'll have time enough to get it ready and advertise before my little time runs out! ^ ^

I'm very nervous right now, just imagining the hype is enough to get me like this! I really, really, really hope you all like my Manga, I'm doing it with a lot of love, from me to you, so PLEEEEEASE give it a try! I hope it meets your expectations.

Hi!

I've been working a lot on my new house with ocean view! This year will be filled with excitement since now we can walk to the beach any time we want!

As you can see, there's a ladder and some other tools scattered around this hall. That door lying besides the ladder is already mounted.

This is the shower. It's a bit bigger than it looks here.

Just a few more details and the bathroom will be ready!

I can't wait to move to my new place. It could be in the next following months, which is great because we'll be established and ready for the Summer! I thank God for our prosperity at these hard times!!! ^ ^

Hello!

The cold that past December didn't bring, January did, with non-stop rainy days. Winters here ars like summer days, but now we have an excuse to wear those jackets hanging in our closets, while drinking hot chocolate and watching anime or something! ^ ^

I don't know about you, but I love this scenery.

Well, hi there.

Tomorrow's the big day: Kaisen 6! ...but i'm not going. -_-'

Thing is that I have no money left, my costume is not finished (also because I have no $$ to spend on its completion) and...I don't feel like going anywhere. I'm still feeling sick *cough cough*

Hi!

I'm currently working on Hollow Mask Ichigo costume, as you shall already know, but I'm having serious issues like never before in my experiences as a cosplayer! Maybe I'm not too focused!? Maybe it's the rush? Maybe I'm just taking this lightly!

I may need to tear apart some pieces I've assembled and buy more material, so to make a better costume. Either that or finish with whatever I have then (after the Con) make a better version.

I'm currently working on Hollow Mask Ichigo's costume for Kaisen 6 this next December 13, which officially marks my cosplay comeback after a few years of absence (last con I attended was Kaisen 1 in summer 2007, featuring the release of my Fatal Frame: The Malice film).

I already have most of the materials to make the costume and although I still need some things to complete it, I can start building it up. ^ ^

I recently watched the Mop Girl (モﾂプガール) series starring Keiko Kitagawa and, as you imagined, I was inspired to write a story under the same concept. The series consists (in short) on a girl with the gift of traveling to the past, having a second chance to save the day.

Hopefully, I'll be bringing something up on late 2010 via either Manga or a Movie. I'll keep you informed as I progress on that.

I might bring in my wife, Hesmarie, to help me bring something nice. But considering she doesn't write in a few years, I'm not sure if she'll accept. But if she does, it will definitely be like a ride back in time, and write stories together like we used to.

Hi-hi!! ^ ^

Good things happened today! I visited my parents, met with long-time-no-see family members, then headed to my wive's family where they were having a nice meeting as well and there was a Christian karaoke... where they pushed me to have a part. I sang "Through it all" from Hillsong (I uploaded a video just a few posts ago). They were happy for me because I sang it well. Or so they say. Now a co-pastor and the church's men president (both in the family and present at the time) saw my "hidden ability" and are now interested in my participation at church with more songs.

...Now, how the heck did that happen?

Anyways, I guess my road to stardom just started, and my wife is very supportive (if not pushy). I'm nervous, but I hope I can do this so to carry on God's word to the people.

I'm gonna search the internet for new songs I can sing. Well, you know, I have to look for the right ones. I can't sing just anything.

I'll keep you updated upon all of my progresses here and there. I'm also learning to play piano on my own, so I'll be posting a little something I've been working on soon.

Hello, everyone!!

I've been absent for a few days but believe me, I wasn't lazy to write. On the contrary, I've been working hard on the Manga project and making crucial decisions. These days were filled with tension, causing me to fall into a lapse of depression. But I'm gaining my strenght back so please forgive my behavior.

I've been playing a bit of PlayStation Home and I made a small photoshoot with my avatar Delmaro. I have a few pics I want to share with you. (^_^)

Also, today I started to watch Keiko Kitagawa's series "Mop Girl" [モﾂプガール] where she was given a gift when she was a child making her able to see events into the future. Even though it seems like a sentimental/emmotional adventure, it has a touch of comedy as well. Only 10 episodes, so get on to it! ^^

This weekend was touching. On Saturday I went to Ponce to attend a church activity. We felt God's prescence.

Then I continued my work on the Manga and I haven't stopped since then.

I couldn't go to the Gaming Explosion Fest activity as I wanted to, but my priority wasn't to get there. Instead, I used my time to work, which is better than spending $30 on that convention.

This weekend I'll have several activities to attend to.

This Saturday I'll post CosplaYard's page #4 (be sure to check it out!), then I'll go for a long road trip to Ponce (remember that I'm from the North, and Ponce is at the South *this is for people reading my blog who live outside P.R.*). It's a church activity and then we'll have dinner. I'll snap pics and maybe some video to share with you afterwards.

Then this Sunday I'll attend Gaming Explosion Fest and bring you even more pics and videos of this great videogaming event (it's gonna be my first! ^ ^).

I've been working on my Manga's website, fixing some things on its interface and an easier way for people to enter. I've noticed people walking out fast just because they couldn't find the ENTER button at the end of the cover page. So, now I changed the cover and you just have to click it to enter. Easier now, huh? :p

Hello! I was having some issues with my drawing software and pen tablet, but I managed to fix the software just a few hours ago. So you can now see some tones and effects on the next pages, starting with tomorrow's (which, by the way, it's already posted ^^).

When the bunch of kids reach my home this night asking for candy, I'll say no. When they attempt to do some foolishness upon my answer, I'll shower them with eggs. There's gonna be a serious egg-shooting.

Although CosplaYard page #1 was released yesterday, I decided to make a quick stop and do something about the image size/quality. Maybe posting Manga pages here was not a good idea. I overlooked this, but I'm working on it. I already built another site where to post my images and it's looking fairly good despite of the rush that I'm handling it.

Why did I call it CosplaYard? Because that's how my group was called back in 2006/07 (CosplaYard's lifespan) and now I'm bringing it back in a different approach: Manga.

Don't I have enough Manga titles already to be working on yet another one? Yes, that's true; but that's me. Always been, always be. But this is a fast and spontaneous adventure I don't even know the story of. I'm creating it as I draw. I have the Manga being promoted right now (top banner with red hair guy) and a bigger story following that one. I'm just securing my near-future work.

So, probably tomorrow I'll be able to make a CosplaYard Manga grand opening! (^-^) Hope you find it entertaining! Thanks for your support!

I was playing ramdom stuff with my son and we ended up playing ninja-style. Then it occurred to me we can play as characters from Naruto. We had a good moment there, which catapulted me into making this drawing.

Well, we were'nt dressed like that, but this is the concept of a series of short jokes I'm planning to do based on a frustrated-aged cosplayer, his son and his ignorant ways of thinking.

My apologies for not posting anything these past days, but you know I'm working as much as I can on the upcoming Manga. I'm giving all the time in my hands so to try and release it before the year ends! That's just around the corner! Could I manage to get it done in time? (O_O)

Naruto weekend at oneechan's dojo!

Hello!

I love anime and videogames, but for some weird reason I'm not into Naruto. Still, I got my ninja dose today, after visiting my sister and their Team-Naruto sons!

Not only they read the Manga, watch the anime and its cosplay on YouTube, but they also own Naruto games on their GCN, Xbox 360 and DS console systems and they can even make all existing jutsu's with their hands! Talk about being a fan! They watch all these stuff day and night it's not hard to believe if their eyes get the shapes of a sharingan soon.

I managed to capture a small piece of gameplay on their DS.

After this, it's only a matter of time for me to decide wheter to start or not watching Shippuden.

...Wait, I think it's starting now! Ok, I'll see you tomorrow. It's ninja time! Believe it!

Yesterday I spent almost the whole day writing the story for the Manga. It's on the last stage! I developed the characters and their battles. I'm about to finish it and begin the next phase, which consists on drawing the characters and give them the final adjustments.

Hello there. Sorry I couldn't post anything yesterday. I've been very busy as a constructor and also working on the Manga I want to bring to you this December. I've been sick for almost two days now, so please forgive me for the delay (does anybody even read this blog besides me and the people I force in?).

I found this some time ago and I want to post it here. I have no PSP of my own, but I know where I could borrow one. The game is The 3rd Birthday, the third installment of the Parasite Eve franchise. It's actually a spinoff of the saga since they decided not to call it "Parasite Eve". But we all know it is. And that's Aya Brea on the following picture.

It is said they fixed a lot of the game mechanics and some other things. it's gonna be a different 3rd person shooter and some times you can also trigger to a first person (camera on your shoulder). The game's release date is on TBA for Japan. ...And considering how long it takes to bring a title to the US, I can only hope to play something SquareEnix-based before I kick the bucket!

There are 3 Death Note movies out there and Hollywood is considering an U.S. remake. Let's hope they don't ruin this fantastic story. I enjoyed the Japanese movies, but I have to say that I preffer the anime series a whole lot more. ...Way more. Why? Well, it just encloses more intrique and because it doesn't have a 2 hours limit, the characters develop in such a way that... well... I cried in the end of the series. ...Yup. ...Like a baby. Did I cry in the movies? Not a drop.

Anyways, but that's just me.

A long time ago I changed of satellite service and I don't have G4 no more. So I'm missing ALL of this great material (mind you, by material I'm referring to the game reviews and such) and live feeds from magnus events such as E3 and San Diego ComiCon! New Project in Sight (新しいプロジェクト)

Like I said the other day, I wrote a story for both a Manga and a movie. At the same time, I'm writing the concepts for another movie (not tied to this first story). But this second story was interesting enough for me to expand it; and today I'm working to bring it forth as yet another Manga.

...Still with me so far?

So, now I have two projects to work with (2 Mangas and 2 movies) and you'll hear from them soon. No promises, but if one project has an April 2010 deadline, the second story will possibly have a December 2009 deadline.

Hello again. Becoming a Mangaka (Manga artist) is something I've been wanting to do ever since I was in High school, but it's harder than I thought it would be. Currently, I'm working on a Manga project to show online and make a movie later on, hopefully.

This female fighter is not a part of my current project, and made only for testing purposes.
I was practicing female faces and this is just one of the many results.

Drawing like this is my goal, but I want everything
to be perfect and I'm still honing my skills.

Once every 2 weeks, PSHome makes an update, although yesterday's was delayed around a whole day later. What's new? Besides some new clothes and furniture at the stores, the fun factor everybody got their eyes on was the new in-game digital camera which, together with last update's "poses", made the perfect combination. We sure had some entertainment today!

PlayStation Home, that is!

I like videogames but among the multiple systems available out there, I only own a Nintendo DS and a PS3 (talk about mismatch! ...Neeehh...-_-').

I do not own a large variety of games (besides Need for Speed and Burnout: Paradise, which are not even mine. They belong to my kid!) my only main entertainment is actually PlayStation Home. There, I met some nice friends and we have a lot of fun together.
